Southern view of the great Roman Theater of Bosra (المسرح الروماني ببصرى) in the Daraa Province (محافظة درعا), Hauran region (حوران). Built in the 2nd Century AD, it is one of the largest preserved Roman theaters in the world and could seat an astounding 17,000 people. This Dry plate negative reprint is from the American Colony/ Matson Photo Service.
