A charming 1967 postcard of the New Clock Tower (ساعة حمص الجديدة) in Homs (حمص) on the western end of Shukri al-Quwatly street (شارع شكري القوتلي). It was built in 1957 through the donation of Homsi expat Kurijeh Haddad and is located in the Gamal Abdel Nasser Square (ساحة جمال عبد الناصر). It is a major symbol of the city and source of pride. Down the street you can see the quaint Al-Dababeer Park (حديقة الدبابير).
