A tribute to the World Cup that almost was. This design features the iconic poster artwork from the 1950 FIFA World Cup in Brazil. The poster’s famous image celebrated the return of the World Cup after World War II and the gathering of countries from around the globe through sport. Including the Syrian independence flag, it commemorates Syria’s historic qualification for the 1950 tournament, a World Cup the nation earned a place in but never had the opportunity to attend.
