This is a beautiful postcard reprint of the Khalid ibn Al-Walid Mosque (مسجد خالد إبن الوليد) in the Khalidiya neighborhood of Homs. Initially this site was the location of a small mosque, cemetery and the mausoleum of the great military commander Khalid ibn Al-Walid who led the Muslim conquest of Syria in the 7th century. A larger mosque was built in the 13th century by the Mamluks and the present-day mosque was built and finished circa 1912 by the Ottomans.

This is a hi-res reprint (not an original), framed and printed on thick matte paper.
